Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, received a committee from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation to evaluate three educational programs at Faculty of Education, and to discuss the activation of all educational, research and administrative procedures to obtain accreditation. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hussein Taha, Dean of Faculty of Education, and Dr.
Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, and Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, Director of the faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany expressed his happiness with this joint cooperation with the Quality Assurance Authority, stressing that the university continuously seeks to improve the quality of education across its various faculties, contributing to the qualification of students in line with international academic standards.
He added that the Quality Team’s visit aims to enhance and develop faculty of Education’s programs to obtain the academic accreditation.
This contributes to raising the level of education in the faculty and enhancing the university’s reputation.
He praised the efforts of all the staff members and staff at the faculty and their commitment to applying quality standards in the educational process.
Dr. Hussein Taha said that the Quality Assurance Authority team’s visit was to accredit the accreditation in in three important specializations: the English Program, the Arabic Program, and the French Program.
He explained that the quality team praised the college’s efforts to implement international quality standards in its educational programs.
Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy emphasized that the center is working diligently to support all faculties in achieving academic accreditation standards and providing all necessary technical and administrative support to the work teams to ensure the success of accreditation.
He noted that the team’s visit was an opportunity to review and evaluate the educational programs at faculty of Education in accordance with the latest international standards.
