Al-Nomany: Long lines and endless meetings to meet people’s needs and resolve disputes and conflicts in Al-Tayeb Square
Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, received Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, for Friday prayers at Al-Tayeb Square in his hometown of Qurna, west of Luxor.
Al-Nomany expressed his gratitude for the Imam’s visit for the second time, stressing that Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb still carries the message of Islam and peace, proving in every situation that he is a fortress of security, as he is keen to maintain his connection with his roots and the people of his village.
Despite his residence in Cairo, he visits his village and meets with its people in Al-Tayeb Square.
Which receives long queues and endless meetings during his visit to hold customary sessions to resolve disputes and conflicts between families, and to help the poor, needy and sick, as well as receiving guests from all over the republic as well as resident tourists and African students, adding that the square has an organized method for meeting people’s needs;
