Sohag University wins First Position in the University of Florida Fellowship Program within the Teacher Excellence Scholarship

Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, announced that the university won first place with the University of Florida Fellowship Program grant, within the framework of the activities of the Teacher Excellence Initiative (TEI), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Education Development Center (EDC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and the Supreme Council of Universities.

The University President congratulated Dr. Iman Wafiqi, Assistant Professor in the Curriculum Department at the University’s faculty of Education, who was able to win first position at the level of Egyptian universities and pass all stages of the program tests to obtain the fellowship program, adding that the winning doctor was granted a fellowship program to study at Tallahassee University in Florida, for a semester One, during the program, training, learning, and applied research will be conducted using the latest educational methods in the field of teacher preparation, then transferring all the experiences gained during the study period to the staff members of the faculty and holding various training programs, based on joint scientific cooperation between the university and Tallahassee University.
