Sohag University Starts Applying for the Applications of Funded Competitive Research Projects

Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, announced applying for competitive research projects for the staff members to obtain funding opportunities from the university’s own resources, in accordance with the list of awards and incentives for excellence in scientific publishing and research projects.

Al-Numani explained that the projects that will receive priority funding are those that dealt with the areas of kidney disease and kidney failure, craft and handicraft industries, waste recycling to reduce the burden or for economic purposes.

 Research projects in the fields of new and renewable energy can also be financed, linking scientific research to the production and services sector, and domestic violence, addiction, climate change, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology applications.

Prof. Ahmed Hassanein added that project proposals will be submitted to the university’s project management unit from November 15 until the end of next December, where the funding will be at least fifty thousand pounds for practical faculties, and thirty thousand pounds for humanitarian and theoretical faculties.
