Sohag University President follows up the Equipment of the New Oral and Dental Hospital

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, followed up the final preparations in the Oral and Dental Hospital at the university’s new headquarters, which is considered one of the university’s most prominent medical educational projects, and one of the university’s important facades in providing the best health care to the Sohag community and all Upper Egypt governorates for free, accompanied by Dr. Islam Amer, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and a number of university engineering management officials.

Al-Numany stressed that there are many preparations for the opening of the hospital soon, to create a qualitative shift in dental education and patient care.

He explained that this project comes within the university’s plan to complete and develop university hospitals, which contributes to providing integrated health care, in addition to training students practically on the latest devices and techniques in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Islam Amer, Dean of the faculty, explained that the dental hospital, which is being built according to the latest international standards, includes 6 floors, including a basement, a ground floor, 4 recurring floors, and 32 specialized clinics, including 8 complex clinics.

There are 13 diagnostic clinics, and 12 paid treatment clinics.

The hospital will also accommodate 300 dental chairs, which reflects the great development in the medical services provided, in addition to 4 innovative oral, maxillofacial simulation laboratories for training students, and 15 specialized laboratories representing all fields of dentistry.
