Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, affirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, is the true supporter of efforts aimed at promoting education and eradicating illiteracy in Egypt, striving towards a new republic free of ignorance
This is according to a report on the achievements of the Egyptian universities in the field of literacy issued by the General Authority for Adult Education for the January 2025 session, which eradicated illiteracy among 10,914 students.
Al-Nomany said that the university’s top ranking among the Egyptian universities is a natural result of the intensive efforts it has exerted over the past few months, and a confirmation of its societal role and its standing at the national, regional, and international levels.
He expressed his pride in the university’s male and female students, who are the backbone of this success.
