Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, participated in the group breakfast celebration organized by the Supreme Council of Universities, on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee celebration, under the patronage and attendance of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, former Ministers of Education, and Presidents of Egyptian Universities.
Al-Nomany congratulated Dr. Ayman Ashour, Dr. Mustafa Refaat and the members of the Supreme Council on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of the Council and wishing more successes and achievements for the Egyptian universities in light of the unprecedented support from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education, led by Dr. Ayman Ashour.
Al-Nomany stressed the importance of the Supreme Council and its role in formulating the general policy for the university education and scientific research in the universities, and working to direct and coordinate it in a manner consistent with the needs of the state and facilitating the achievement of national, social, economic and scientific goals.
Al-Nomany added that this group breakfast is a tradition that the council is keen to organize during the month of Ramadan, which is considered a meeting of one family between all the university presidents, with the aim of strengthening social relations and supporting the bonds of love
