President of Sohag University honors 65 University Members for Participating with Books in the 56th Cairo International Book Fair

Al-Nomany: “We are proud of you… and of your scientific and literary creativity that embodies the university’s position among leading academic institutions.”

Dr. Hassan El-Naamani, President of Sohag University, honored 65 staff members, members of the administrative structure, and students who participated in the 56th Cairo International Book Fair with their scientific and literary publications and writings, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary General of the University, and a group of deans of various faculties, at the International Conference Center at the New University campus.

During the meeting, Al-Nomany praised the distinguished contributions of the university’s staff to the 56th Book Fair, which reflects the university’s research and creative excellence in various research and cultural fields, stressing the university’s keenness to support knowledge production and enhance participation in major scientific and cultural events.

Al-Nomany pointed out that the production of knowledge and the dissemination of enlightened thought are the basis for the progress of societies, stressing that the university is proud of these successful models and these creative minds that enrich the scientific and cultural library with distinguished intellectual production in all fields, and will continue to support everyone who seeks to provide useful knowledge that contributes to the renaissance of society.

The University President also expressed his happiness with the participation of students in particular in the Cairo International Book Fair, considering them the leaders of the future and the bearers of the banner of progress, and who represent an honorable model for the university, which is always keen to support them and encourage them to participate effectively in all scientific and cultural forums.

At the end of the meeting, the honorees presented copies of their books to Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, expressing their happiness with this honor, which is an incentive for more creativity and giving in serving the community and raising the academic and research level.
