Sohag University Council, headed by Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of the University, announced joining Major General Dr. Samir Farag – the strategic expert and former Director of the Morale Affairs Department, as a member of the University Council due to his long experience in public work.
Al-Numany stressed the university administration’s keenness to cooperate with public figures and experts in various fields in order to achieve linkage and integration between the university’s goals and the needs of the local community, which supports the university’s journey to achieve its strategic goals.
Al-Nomany said that Major General Samir Farag is one of the loyal men of the armed forces, who devoted their lives in serving their country, he also has a deep vision based on objectivity and practical facts regarding many national issues.
From his part, Major General Samir Farag expressed his happiness at joining the Council of Sohag University because of its scientific and educational capabilities and expertise as a beacon of knowledge and enlightenment, in addition to its role in serving the people of Sohag Governorate.
