Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, participates in the Egyptian-British Forum to discuss investment in higher education, which is held under the patronage and presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a high-level British delegation headed by Sir Geoffrey Donald Son, the British Trade Envoy, and Ambassador Gareth Bailey, the British Ambassador in Cairo.
Al-Nomani explained that the forum continues until September 28, and is organized in cooperation with the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce in London, with support of the British Council in Cairo and the British Embassy in Cairo.
He explained that the forum includes discussing the establishment of British university branches in Egypt, investment in the Egyptian higher education system, Establishing joint scientific degrees between Egyptian and British universities, in addition to signing joint agreements between the Egyptian and British sides in the fields of higher education and scientific research, and implementing field visits by the British delegation to a number of Egyptian universities.
