Graduation projects to treat Kidney Stones, Cough, Obesity and Thinness, implemented by students of Faculty of Pharmacy

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the discussion of the natural products graduation project for the eighth batch at Faculty of Pharmacy, related to the Department of Pharmacology, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Allam Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Acting Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din.

Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Ezz, academic supervisor of the Egyptian Pharmacy Students Union, and a number of staff members, their assistants and students, at the headquarters of the glass hall in the old university campus.

Al-Numani praised the projects from the students who produced handcrafted pharmaceutical products from 100% natural materials, using volatile essential oils, non-volatile oils, beeswax, shea butter, medicinal plant extracts, olive oils, etc., which were extracted inside the faculties’ laboratories and the final image was prepared, in addition to conducting several scientific researches on many products, he extended his thanks to the staff members of the faculty for their efforts and their role in transferring their knowledge and experiences to the students, wishing the students more success.

Dr. Allam Abdel Moneim explained that the faculty is distinguished by the skillful students and who are able to compete locally and internationally, stressing the role of faculty of Pharmacy in studying health problems and proposing appropriate scientific solutions.
