Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, witnessed the launch of the activities of the first student conference at Faculty of Medicine, honoring the first and the most distinguished students in the student activities and those distinguished academically, in the presence of Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Nasr El-Din, Dr. Hatem Ammar, and Dr. Khaled Abdel-Al, vice deans of the faculty, and an elite group of department heads, staff members, and students from various academic levels.
Al-Numany said during his speech that faculty of Medicine is one of the leading faculties that always seeks to prepare and graduate medical cadres capable of keeping pace with the modern scientific developments, and that organizing this student conference comes within the framework of the university’s interest in supporting distinguished students and its keenness to provide the appropriate environment for creativity and innovation, and to encourage them to achieve scientific achievements that contribute to the development of our society.
During the conference, the President of the University announced the launch of the first scientific journal to publish the student researches, stressing that supporting student researchers is a priority to achieve scientific excellence, as they are a fundamental pillar in developing the educational process, believing in the importance of investing in promising young minds and developing their academic skills.
Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi said that this conference comes within the framework of the faculty’s keenness to support various student activities and encourage students to engage in scientific research, which contributes to preparing a generation of doctors capable of facing future medical challenges.
