Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, participated in a group iftar in Ramadan tent at Sohag University Hospital, which was organized by the university in cooperation with the youth of the Good Companions Initiative, to distribute meals to the patients and fasting people in the hospital’s various departments.
This came in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Samir Abdel Majeed, Director of Emergency Hospital, hospital directors Dr. Ahmed Al-Saeed, Dr. Amr Al-Sharif, Dr. Yasser Heshmat, Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security, and a number of staff members and students.
During breakfast, Al-Numany expressed his happiness with his annual participation in the Iftar and his presence among young volunteers, who work with love to provide charitable works in the blessed month of Ramadan, and take it upon themselves prepare the meals, and distribute them to those who are fasting at the University Hospital.
Al-Nomany added that more than 1,500 meals are being prepared in Ramadan tent to feed patients’ companions and workers, as the meals provided include rice, vegetables, meat, or chicken daily, appreciating what the young volunteers are doing and the charitable work provided by the Companions of Charity initiative to serve the Sohagi community.
