Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, announced that the university has achieved distinction and a new accomplishment in many scientific fields, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, where physical sciences came in the category (601-800), engineering: category (601-800), clinical and health sciences: category (801-1000), and life sciences: category (801-1000).
Al-Nomani said that at the regional level, Sohag University was among the best (141-160) Arab universities according to the Times rankings for 2024.
As for the world, it reserved its place among the best (1201-1500) universities in the Times rankings for 2025.
He pointed out that these results highlight the remarkable progress achieved by the university at the Arab and international levels, which reflects the efforts made to enhance the quality of education and scientific research.
