Prof. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the activities of the job Rehabilitation Conference under the title “National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research,” which was organized by the University Centers of Professional Development Project, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, prof. Ahmed Dalal, President of the American University in Cairo, and Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education. Education and former technical education, Mr. Wick Bowers, Director of the Office of Education and Health at the United States Agency for International Development in Egypt, Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister of Strategic Planning, Training and Preparation for the Labor Market, a group of Egyptian university presidents, and a number of experts in higher education and vocational guidance in Egypt
Dr. Hassan Al-Numani said that in implementation of the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, professional development centers at universities are working to help thousands of male and female students obtain vocational guidance, employment skills, and technical training over the past years.
This is within the framework of the Egyptian state’s keenness to support and support the efforts of various educational institutions and bodies to achieve their development mission.
He explained that the Professional Development Center at Sohag University is one of the first centers established by the American University, as it provides a variety of training programs that raise students’ practical skills and connect them with appropriate employment opportunities in the public and private sectors, as well as supporting entrepreneurs through the necessary consultations and facilities.
