Dr. Hassan Al-Nu’many, President of Sohag University, announced that Banque Misr donated 48 million pounds to equip the intensive care unit at Shifa Children’s University Hospital as a gift from President El-Sisi. This donation is based on the cooperation protocol signed with Mr. Essam El-Wakil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, and the Banque Misr Social Foundation.

Dr. Magdy El-Qadi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ali El-Saidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and former Minister of Electricity, Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Jaafar, Director of Shifa Children’s Hospital, and Heba Hussein, Executive Director of the Foundation, at the bank’s headquarters in Cairo.
