departments, and the best ophthalmology departments in the republic<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, witnessed the activities of the first international conference of the Department of Ophthalmology and Surgery at Faculty of Human Medicine, under the title \u201cModern Medical Developments in the Eye Diseases,\u201d in the presence of Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Gamal Abdel Latif Radwan, Professor of Ophthalmology and Former Dean of the Faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Al-Ahmadi Hamad Al-Samman, head of the department and president of the conference, and Dr. Muhammad Nasr Al-Din, the faculty\u2019s dean for education and student affairs, and a group of ophthalmology professors and young doctors from various universities and hospitals, at the International Conference Center at the New University.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Hassan Al-Numany appreciated the scientific and research leadership of the faculty of Medicine, especially the Department of Ophthalmology at the faculty, which has become one of the most important leading departments and the best ophthalmology departments in the Republic.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the conference is an opportunity for specialists in the field of ophthalmology and surgery to increase knowledge, professional and research expertise, and exchange Experience in the uses of advanced technologies, due to the scientific value of the conference.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi said that the conference is witnessing distinguished participation from the staff members from various ophthalmology departments from all universities in Egypt, such as Assiut University, Minya, Kasr Al-Aini, Alexandria, South Valley, and Luxor Universities.<\/p>\n<p>And Faculty of Medicine of Al-Azhar University, in addition to the doctors of the Memorial Ophthalmology Institute in Giza, and also an international participation represented by doctors from the State of Kuwait and Libya, with strong participation from our University\u2019s Ophthalmology Department.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gamal Abdel Latif Radwan expressed his happiness at holding this international conference in the prestigious Sohag University to bring together a distinguished group of ophthalmology and surgery from various Egyptian and international universities to exchange experience and knowledge with young doctors from inside and outside the
