Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, invites you to attend the activities of the first scientific conference organized by Faculty of Agriculture under the title \u201cSustainable Agriculture and Food Security in Light of Climate Change,\u201d on Wednesday, November 13, at the International Conference Center at the university\u2019s new headquarters, with the participation of 12 universities and a research center at the republic level.<\/p>\n
The conference will address a number of important topics, including food security in Egypt, agriculture and production guarantees, the current and future impacts of climate change on the agriculture and food sector, smart agriculture, and the current and future role of agricultural extension and rural development.<\/p>\n
It will also discuss topics of the productive capacity of the field crops, and climate-resilient breeds in \u00a0the livestock and poultry production, agricultural pests and methods of preventing and controlling them in light of climate developments.<\/p>\n
