Prof. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, honored 377 male and female students who are brilliant in student activities and obtained 212 advanced positions in national or internal competitions at the university level, during the closing ceremony of student activities for the academic year 2023\/2024, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President for University Affairs. Education and Students, Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Alaa Ghaleb, President of Students for Egypt Family and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Ceremony,<\/p>\n
Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security, and Intisar Abu Al-Dahab, Director of the Cultural and Artistic Activity Department and responsible for the ceremony\u2019s organizing committee, along with an elite group of faculty deans and their deputies, general directors, and officials of youth welfare departments in various faculties, in the large conference hall at the old university headquarters.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of his speech, the University President praised the level and talent that the students demonstrated throughout the year and throughout the internal and external participations, and the medals they achieved. He also praised the differently capable students and the advanced positions they achieved at the level of Egyptian universities.Al-Numani pointed out tha \u00a0the state\u2019s interest in creating qualified generations capable of assuming responsibility, and emphasizing the role of student activities in developing society, the university seeks to adopt modern educational frameworks to implement various activities aimed at developing and refining students\u2019 personalities, through their participation in cultural, artistic, and artistic activities. Social, sports and religious, and setting goals, steps and thoughtful programs to discover and develop students\u2019 talents and motivate them to achieve creativity, by engaging them in student activities and developing their abilities to build the character of the ideal student, to achieve the vision of the political leadership in building the generations of the new republic.
