Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, participated in the festive atmosphere for the students of \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Faculty of Medicine, who completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery studies for the academic year 2023-2024.<\/p>\n

This is the first batch of the (5+2) system, where the years of study are 5 years and two years of training instead of 6 years and one year of training.<\/p>\n

The President of the University expressed his happiness with the graduation of the first batch of students from faculty of Medicine in the 5+2 system, which aims to qualify the student scientifically and practically, as the basic subjects are studied through theoretical lectures inside the faculty halls and practical training inside its laboratories, and then comes the study of clinical subjects from Through small and group theoretical study groups that take place inside faculty halls, and clinical training inside university hospital departments, according to an educational program that is in line with the education programs in major medical faculties in the world,<\/p>\n

Al-Noamani stressed that the graduates of Faculty of Medicine at Sohag University have a high degree of competence, which will enable them to participate in serving their community and their country to the fullest extent, stressing that opportunities in the medical field in Egypt are constantly increasing, and what is coming is better and the future is dazzling, wishing the students more success and excellence.<\/p>\n
