Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the ceremony of distributing 22 talking laptops to blind students, which was organized by the university\u2019s Social Solidarity Unit, in cooperation with both Orman Association and the Islamic Sharia Association, within the framework of the National Initiative for Equal Educational Opportunities and the efforts of the National Alliance, Which was launched by Ministry of Social Solidarity, in the presence of Dr. Salah Hashem, advisor of Ministry of Social Solidarity for social policy and general coordinator of the solidarity units at the Egyptian University, Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, vice presidents of the university, Mohamed Saad, director of Orman Association branch in Sohag, staff members and students in the old campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So that there is no financial, physical, or mental obstacle between any learner and their full educational opportunities, and their integration into society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Salah Hashem explained that 51 talking laptops were provided over two phases and 22 in the third phase, in addition to canceling the debts of students who are unable to pay tuition fees throughout their years of study, whether in whole or in part, and paying tuition fees for students with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will also pay Tuition fees for postgraduate students with disabilities, in addition to establishing exceptional sponsors to adopt outstanding male and female students and providing them with scholarships in addition to ATM cards with a monthly allowance of 500 pounds, which will include children of families benefiting from the Solidarity and Dignity program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Salah Hashem added that the Ministry launched the Productive Student Program to encourage students to develop and refine their craft skills and create their own projects, through which the productive student receives an amount of 10 to 15 thousand pounds with the aim of creating a creative, productive student capable of providing a decent life for himself and his family, with the best choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
