The Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity expresses his admiration for the volunteers\u2019 enthusiasm and support for the state\u2019s plans to eliminate addiction<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, and Dr. Amr Othman, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity and Director of the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse, conducted an inspection tour to follow up the progress of work inside the \u201cVolunteer House\u201d headquarters in the new campus, accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Khaled. Imran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mennatullah Mustafa Kamal, Director of the Volunteer House, Mohamed Shehata, Governorate Supervisor of the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse, and a number of student volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his tour, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani pointed out that the Volunteer House was opened at the new university headquarters in 2021, as a headquarters for the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership on the necessity of the participation of all state institutions to eliminate addiction, and to spread community awareness of the seriousness of abuse, where the Volunteer House was established to become a scientific, educational and awareness beacon for university youth about all types of drugs and their impact on the individual and society, in addition to investing in young people\u2019s energies, creativity and abilities to bring about the desired change in others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is done by implementing many activities and events through which correct information is provided about the issue of addiction in different ways that suit the capabilities of young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the Volunteer House aims to attract the largest number of young people to volunteer with the Addiction Treatment and Combat Fund, where individual interviews are conducted with applicants to volunteer and train them about the latest awareness methods used to protect students from falling into the clutches of addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Amr Othman expressed his admiration for the services provided by the Volunteer House, and the enthusiasm and love for volunteer work he saw in the the male and female students, whether officials or volunteers, and his insistence on supporting the state\u2019s plans to eliminate the problem of addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also conducted a friendly dialogue with them about the awareness activities and programs that are carried out and the extent of students\u2019 interest in volunteering to work at the headquarters, to eliminate the issue of the spread of addiction and drug abuse, directing students to the need to intensify awareness campaigns, and to continue working to attract volunteers for volunteer activities at the Fund, wishing them continued success and success.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
