Prof\/ Mostafa Abdel-Khaleq, President of Sohag University, held a meeting with the Korean delegation from Ain Shams University, to find out the executive procedures related to the imminent opening of the \u201cKorean Language\u201d department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun,\u00a0 represented by Prof\/Young In Chung, Professor at the Department of Korean Language, Ain Shams University, and Prof\/ Byungrim Lee, a former Korean language professor at the University of Jordan, in the presence of Prof\/ Sabri Tawfiq Hammam, Acting Dean of the College, and Dr\/ Mirna Sayed, a demonstrator in the Department of Korean Language.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq explained that the meeting discussed the executive steps taken regarding the imminent announcement of the opening of the Korean language department at the university at the beginning of the new academic year 2022\/2023, confirming that the presence of a Korean language department, is considered a real operative for educational cooperation between the two countries, to graduate a generation of students to link between the Arab and Korean people. The meeting also discussed signing a cooperation protocol that grants more opportunities for scientific and research exchange between faculty members and students in the two universities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prof\/ Sabri Tawfiq added that the meeting dealt with the inventory of the department\u2019s human cadres needs from faculty members, as well as the material and spatial requirements, noting that the opening of the Korean language department is a great addition to the college departments.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
