Dr. Ahmed Aziz, President of the University, signed a cooperation protocol with the Dar Al-Hilal Press organization, represented by Eng. Ahmed Omar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, this was in the presence of the journalist Mohamed Al-Shafei, former editor-in-chief of Al-Hilal magazine and head of the organization Training Center, at the Foundation\u2019s headquarters in Cairo.<\/p>\n
Dr. Ahmed Aziz emphasized that the aim of the protocol is to activate the principle of scientific and academic cooperation between the university and the press institutions to develop the skills of students and \u00a0the members of the university community, and to refine them with professional expertise in order to graduate \u00a0a highly qualified journalist and technical cadres in the journalistic work market<\/p>\n
The university president explained that the provisions of the protocol stipulate training and qualifying the university students for the job market in the media, journalistic and literary fields, discovering the distinguished literary talents, sponsoring them and presenting them to the community through the press and training centers of Al-Hilal House, such as Al-Musawwar, Al-Hilal, Al-Kawakeb magazine, Hawa, in addition to the Tabeebak magazine. Al-Khas, Samir Magazine, Al-Hilal novels and others, and training the willing \u00a0students, especially students of the mass comunication department, of the Dar Al-Hilal Foundation in the fields of journalism, criticism and media, through the training programs available in the institution, by specialized experts.<\/p>\n
