A student delegation from Sohag University participated in the dialogue forum to build awareness among the students at the Egyptian universities and institutes.<\/p>\n
The forum was organized by the Leadership Development Institute under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute.<\/p>\n
Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of the University, explained that the forum was organized in light of the strategic directions of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who emphasized the need to support the national policy to support innovation and entrepreneurship and link higher education and scientific research to productive sectors.<\/p>\n
In addition to holding dialogue sessions with university students and decision-makers, the program provides young people with the opportunity to interact and actively participate in formulating development plans, present their ideas, and adopt their effective initiatives to contribute to building a renaissance in society and establishing the foundations of the new republic.<\/p>\n
Dr. Abdel Nasser Youssef, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, pointed out that the university is keen to have its students participate in such important dialogue meetings, which represent a true translation of the political leadership\u2019s directives to consolidate a culture of awareness and enhance the capabilities of youth within Egyptian universities and institutes,<\/p>\n
emphasizing that these meetings aim to equip students with contemporary leadership visions and skills, with the aim of developing national competencies capable of effectively contributing to building society.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mohamed Kamal, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Care, said that the forum lasted for three consecutive days, with the participation of a group of ministers, community leaders, professors, and specialists in various fields.<\/p>\n
The forum included numerous educational events, seminars, lectures, and training workshops, in addition to dialogue sessions with the most influential figures in society.<\/p>\n
Mohamed Youssef, Director of the Student Unions and Families Department, added that the final day of the forum witnessed an open dialogue, the first of its kind, between students and members of the Egyptian Family House, and included dialogue sessions on tolerance and brotherhood, and the importance of empowering youth and strengthening their identity and belonging.<\/p>\n
At the end of the day, a heritage field trip was organized to Al-Muizz Street and the Al-Hussein area, with the aim of promoting Egyptian identity and raising awareness of the nation’s cultural and civilizational heritage.<\/p>\n
