Sohag University participated in launching of the “New Beginning” initiative, which aims to enhance the quality of education and spread the culture of quality among the university students.<\/p>\n
The initiative was sponsored by the League of Arab States and attended by the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.<\/p>\n
In the presence of Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, the event was held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.<\/p>\n
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, emphasized that ensuring quality is not an option, but rather a necessity in light of global competition, which requires the integration of all efforts with various relevant bodies, including the pre-university education sector<\/p>\n
to expand the scope of this initiative’s impact and benefit from it in achieving the state’s goals in achieving innovation, stressing that the university is constantly striving to improve the quality of education in all its academic programs, to prepare graduates with a high level of competence and qualified for the local and international labor market.<\/p>\n
The university’s participation in this initiative embodies its ongoing commitment to developing and improving the quality of education, in line with the state’s strategic directions within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.<\/p>\n
From his part, Dr. Khaled Omran emphasized that this initiative aligns with the university’s vision to enhance academic quality standards among its students and staff members.<\/p>\n
This initiative is being implemented through a series of activities and training workshops aimed at improving academic performance, in line with the latest international standards.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, explained that the center continues its tireless efforts to develop academic quality systems by implementing training programs aimed at enhancing the competence of staff members and equipping them with the skills necessary to achieve the highest levels of quality in the educational process.<\/p>\n
