Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, and Colonel Fouad Darwish, a member of the National Anti-Corruption Academy, honored 93 trainees\u2014staff members and students\u2014who completed the first training course in governance and anti-corruption.<\/p>\n
The course was organized in cooperation with the Administrative Control Authority and the National Anti-Corruption Academy, and was held at the International Conference Center at the new university.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany congratulated the trainees on completing the training course, which was held at the university for the first time, with the aim of raising awareness of the concepts of governance and transparency and strengthening anti-corruption mechanisms.<\/p>\n
He directed all participants to apply this scientific content in their daily tasks, and thanked the lecturers from the National Anti-Corruption Academy for their efforts over the course of three days.<\/p>\n
They endured the arduous journey and participated in this training program, which is part of the state’s plan to achieve the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030, which places governance and combating corruption at the top of its priorities to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of government institutions.<\/p>\n
From his part, Colonel Fouad Darwish stated that the cooperation with Sohag University \u00a0is one of the Authority’s roles in supporting state institutions, promoting a culture of integrity and transparency, and building cadres capable of combating corruption and enhancing the efficiency of the administrative apparatus.<\/p>\n
He noted that the training program witnessed outstanding interaction from the trainees, and that these activities represent an important step toward achieving effective governance, contributing to improving performance and ensuring the quality of services.<\/p>\n
Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director General of the Central Youth Care Authority, explained that the three-day course featured a group of lecturers from the oversight authority’s leadership, including Major General Walid Nafea, Head of the Administrative Control Office in Sohag Governorate, Colonel Fouad Darwish, a member of the National Academy for Combating Corruption, and Major General Mamdouh Zidan, a freelance crisis management consultant.<\/p>\n
