The General Administration of Medical Affairs takes care of university students medically from the first day of joining the university until the approval of the result of the last year and the student\u2019s success in it. Medical services continue during the academic year and during vacations between years.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tServices of the Medical Administration<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

First: The Monthly Treatment Pharmacy: It specializes in dispensing medicines for students who suffer from chronic diseases with medical reports<\/p>\n

Second: Daily Therapy Pharmacy: It specializes in dispensing medicines to students who undergo a medical examination in the administration.<\/p>\n

Third: Medical analysis laboratory: The medical administration laboratory provides all kinds of medical analyzes for students.<\/p>\n

Fourth: Modern analysis equipment. The laboratory performs the following annually:<\/p>\n

1- Housing analyzes for students in university dormitories, including drug detection and hepatitis C and B viruses.<\/p>\n

2- Analyzes of hepatitis viruses and HIV for students of the Faculty of Nursing and the Institute of Nursing.<\/p>\n

3- Performing the required analyzes for public clinics in the medical administration, including (sugar, liver function, kidney function, blood fats, comprehensive urine and stool examination.<\/p>\n

4- The laboratory draws the necessary analyzes for immune diseases, tumors, hormones, and PCR analyzes for hepatic viruses.<\/p>\n

Fifth: Radiology Department:<\/p>\n

1- The department performs ultrasound scans of the abdomen and pelvis.<\/p>\n

2- An ultrasound of the heart.<\/p>\n

3- Color Doppler scans of the arteries.<\/p>\n

4- X-rays.<\/p>\n

5- CT scan<\/p>\n

6- Magnetic resonance imaging, by transferring to the University Hospital<\/p>\n

Sixth: Dental unit<\/p>\n

A comprehensive dental unit is being established.<\/p>\n

\n<\/p>

Medical examination and treatment system<\/p>\n

 <\/strong>The student makes a medical examination by the specialist doctor and a report on his condition for chronic diseases such as diabetes, immune diseases, hepatitis viruses, various neurological and psychological diseases, tumors, etc. The specialist doctor prepares a medical report for him and writes the necessary treatment for him monthly for a full academic year, and the report is renewed annually.<\/span><\/p>\n

The monthly treatment pharmacy dispenses the treatment by sending the orders to the Unified Procurement Authority, and the student pays 10% of the treatment cost.<\/p>\n

The student must pay the fees for the academic year, by bringing a card or what proves a payment for the expenses, such as a receipt for paying the fees to obtain a health card.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRules for Granting Medical Excuses<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

In the case that the student is unable to attend lectures, practical lessons or exams, the following will be done:<\/p>

1- The student submits a request to the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs or the Dean of the College to obtain a medical excuse.<\/p>

2- Prof. \/ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs shall refer the student with medical reports about his condition as he is detained in the internal section of a hospital or at his residence and cannot move to the General Administration of Medical Affairs.<\/p>

3- The medical committee shall undertake the examination of the student, whether in the medical department, in the hospital where he is being held, or in his place of residence, if necessary.<\/p>

4- The student pays an amount of 100 pounds (one hundred pounds nothing more than the value of the stamp of medical services for medical excuses) before signing the medical examination on him. After signing the examination, the committee prepares a detailed medical report on the student\u2019s condition and decides whether or not to accept him. For education and student affairs, the decision of the committee is binding on the Colleges Council.<\/p>

5- In the case of excuses related to exams, it is required that the student must present it before or during the exams, and no excuse will be considered after the end of the exam work, except in the case of accidents whose reports are received from the hospital in which the student is detained, and it is required that they arrive before the approval of the results of the exams.<\/p>

6- If the student is exposed to a sudden illness while taking the exam that prevents him from completing the exam, a medical examination will be signed on him with the knowledge of the committee doctor, and a report will be written on his condition approved by the head of the examination committee.<\/p>

7- Do not submit any unsatisfactory excuses to the medical committee.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

8- In cases that require a special examination committee, the General Administration of Medical Affairs shall be notified within a period of no less than 72 hours (three days) in coordinating with Prof. \/ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs or the Dean of the College to hold the examination committee at the hospital headquarters.<\/p>

** The student submits a sick excuse to his the student affairs administration, which transfers him to the medical department to make a medical examination and a sick excuse according to the student\u2019s condition, and he pays 100 pounds in the form of stamps that are placed on the sick excuse, as well as for the work of special committees.<\/p>

Print a student guide for medical administration services to identify the health and medical services provided by the university to its students.<\/p>

2\/ Allocating a health clinic in the old and new campuses of the university, with the presence of an ambulance on a continuous basis, to provide primary health care, curative and preventive, for university employees and their families.<\/p>

3\/ Follow-up of chronic illnesses and refer cases that need secondary care to hospitals.<\/p>

4\/ Signing a medical examination for new and old university dorm students, and college students, which includes conducting drug tests and checking for hepatitis viruses (C, B).<\/p>

3- Orthopedics<\/p>

3 Rheumatism, rehabilitation and immunological diseases<\/p>

4- Ophthalmia<\/p>

5- Nose, ear and throat<\/p>

6- Women and childbirth<\/p>

7- Family medicine<\/p>

8- Urinary tract9-Speech and hearing diseases<\/p>

10- Diseases of the liver, hepatitis viruses and the digestive system<\/p>

The transfer is made to the university hospital to sign the medical examination and make medical reports for treatment or medical excuses, in other specialties such as neurological and psychological diseases and specialized surgeries (heart and chest surgery – brain and neurosurgery – plastic surgery – tumors).<\/p>
