The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference at Sohag University Recommends Supporting brilliant Innovators with Special Needs.

Sohag University concluded the closing session of the first conference in Upper Egypt entitled “The Future of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in its Third Edition,” which was organized by the University’s Technology Transfer and Marketing Offices (TECO), at the International Conference Center on the new campus.

Prof. Hassan Al-Numani, President of the University and General President of the Conference, said that the conference concluded its activities with several recommendations that are applicable on the ground, the most important of which is empowering innovators to transform their innovations into inventions and marketing them to deepen local manufacturing, and working to support the transfer and marketing of technology and innovation through the University’s Taiko offices and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to transform inventions into products and services that contribute to supporting the economy and the local product, explaining that the conference also recommended supporting brilliant innovators with special needs, by encouraging and supporting them by all possible means and integrating them into society.

Al-Nomani stressed that several recommendations had been adopted, including establishing a database for innovation and inventions through the university’s TACO offices to provide information at the local and regional levels necessary for the concerned authorities, in addition to enhancing cooperation and coordination between these authorities to support inventions.
