Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, stressed the importance of the role of the staff treatment unit at the university and the health and treatment services it provides, directing the necessity of expanding services and facilities, and providing support to reduce the burdens on staff members, their assistants, and their families.
This came during his chairmanship of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Staff Treatment Fund, which was held in the University Council Hall, in the presence of Dr. Sharaf El-Din Shazly, Director of the Faculty Treatment Unit at the University, and members of the Fund, including deans and staff members from various faculties at the University.
The number of beneficiaries reached 973 staff members, and the financial claims borne by the unit for their treatment amounting to more than one million and 900 thousand pounds were paid, as part of the university’s keenness to provide all types of medical support and provide the necessary treatment facilities to all its members.
