Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, signed a cooperation protocol to implement and implement the “Bolonia faculties of Education” project in the universities of Upper Egypt, which includes “the universities of Sohag, South Valley, Luxor, Aswan, and the South Valley University branch in the Red Sea), in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education.” Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council, and the presidents of the universities participating in the project.
Al-Nomany explained that the project will be applied as an initial experiment to faculties of education in the universities of South Upper Egypt, and aims to unify the regulations and curricula, and the number of credit hours for the faculties of South Upper Egypt, in addition to the number of years of graduation in the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral stages.
Al-Noamany stressed that the project also aims to achieve more consistency in the system of education, study and examinations in all universities in the South Upper Egypt region, which contributes to the preparation of distinguished graduates who are academically, professionally and morally qualified and capable of conducting scientific studies and research, which meet the requirements of the labor market using modern technologies in order to achieve sustainable development, he added that this will facilitate the transfer of students from one university to another within the region without any compensation or obstacles in completing their studies, in addition to making it easier for postgraduate students.
It will also facilitate the transfer of international students from one university to another, thus increasing the number of international students (expats). ) in the universities of the region.
