Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, received a delegation from members of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Publishers Union, headed by Saeed Abdo, President of the Union and Chairman of the Dar Al-Maaref Foundation, to discuss the mechanisms for implementing the Sohag Festival, City of Arts and Culture, which is implemented in cooperation with both the Ministry of Culture and the Governorate and Sohag University, on 5 Next December.
Al-Noamani explained that the meeting discussed the preparations for Sohag Festival, the City of Arts and Culture, which will include holding a book fair at the local club, with the participation of major Egyptian publishing houses, holding artistic concerts and literary seminars with the participation of the most famous Egyptian writers, and implementing a competition to select the best literary works from the youth of Sohag Governorate and publish them for free
