Sohag University participated in the activities of the Fourth Conference of Higher Education for Persons with Disabilities entitled “Sustainable Cooperation Towards Promoting the Integration of Persons with Disabilities,” which was organized in cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the American AMIDEAST Foundation, in the presence of Dr. Sherine Yahya, Advisor of the Minister of Higher Education for Students with Disabilities. Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Tariq Zaki, Director of the Center for Service for Students with Disabilities at the University, Cairo Governorate.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of the University, thanked the Ministry of Higher Education and AMIDEAST for supporting the file of persons with disabilities in various Egyptian public universities, and for the logistical, moral, and technological support they provide to raise the efficiency of service centers for students with disabilities in the Egyptian universities.
