Sohag University Council announces its support for the presidential candidate Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the upcoming presidential elections to complete the Process of achievements

Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, chaired the monthly session of the University Council No. 199 for the month of November 2023, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and the deans of the faculties.

At the beginning of the session, the League Council, headed by Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, announced its support for presidential candidate Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in the upcoming presidential elections, to complete the process of achievements that were achieved in Egypt over the past 10 years in all sectors of the state.

Al-Noamani praised the role of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in supporting the Palestinian case, and his long-term vision in working to achieve peace in the Middle East, stressing that the Egyptian political leadership played a wise role in managing the crisis, and was the first country to take action at the International and regional level.

The University President said that during the Council’s work, it was approved to start studies at faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research in February 2024, and approval was made to make scientific journals available electronically in the magazine’s website, in the light of the Council of Ministers’ decision to rationalize spending, in addition to also approving faculty of Science Council’s proposal regarding the work of student initiative entitled “Pre-Graduate Researchers” and disseminating the initiative to the university’s faculties.

Al-Nomani added that the list of the Journal of Legal and Economic Sciences at Faculty of Law was also approved, and the list of scientific publications of the Egyptian Journal of Research and Islamic Studies issued by the Center for Heritage Studies and Research at Faculty of Arts was approved, explaining that the nomination of Prof. Nassar Abdullah, am emeritus professor in the Department of Philosophy at Faculty of Arts, was approved for nominating to get the Nile Prize in Literature for the year 2024, and the nomination of Prof. Mustafa Ragab, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Fundamentals of Education, faculty of Education, for the State merit Award in the Field of Arts for the year 2024.

Al-Nomani pointed out that it was also approved for the Community Service and Environment Sector to organize the seventh environmental week entitled “Environmental Investment” under the slogan “Together to develop investment in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030”, during the period from April 21 to 25, 2024.
