Sohag University launched its free caravan, to serve the people of the village of Awlad Nossir in Sohag city, within the framework of the presidential initiative, and to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, added that the caravan was carried out with the participation of a distinguished elite of staff members in multiple specializations in the faculties of medicine, where medical and awareness services were provided to the people of the village of Ouled Naseer and treatment was dispensed free of charge, to reduce the burdens on citizens in the most needed areas.
Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, explained that the medical convoy included 12 medical specialties, such as internal medicine, children’s, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, dermatology, ophthalmia, chest surgery, and others, as medical examinations were signed for 684 citizens in different medical specialties.
