Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, stated that an amount of 2 million and 700 thousand pounds has been allocated to equip the laboratories of Faculty of Pharmacy, within the framework of the university’s keenness to equip the scientific faculties with the latest devices and technologies in accordance with international specifications, to qualify student cadres for the labor market, and to support them to apply theoretical study practically; Which helps them understand and apply basic concepts in the fields they study.
Sohag University President stressed the importance of equipping laboratories and laboratories, which represent an important and essential element in the success of the educational process in any educational institution.
Therefore, the University has given great importance through the integrated establishment of laboratories with the quality of modern and advanced equipment, which prepares our students for a professional future, explaining the role and importance of faculties of pharmacy in developing the pharmaceutical industry using modern technological means, where the student deals during the study with advanced laboratory equipment and machines, in order to prepare a trained pharmacist capable of competing locally and regionally.
Dr. Allam Abdel Moneim, Dean of the faculty, added that the faculty’s laboratories were equipped with computers, microscopes, and other advanced devices, with the aim of providing an appropriate educational environment equipped with modern technologies to ensure an excellent and effective educational experience, in a way that enhances students’ skills and understanding, and enables the scientific and practical application of academic subjects.
This will enable him to join the labor market and compete strongly at the local and international levels.
