Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, witnessed part of the activities of the training workshop organized by the University’s Disability Equality Service Center for the Students with Disabilities, in cooperation with the American AMIDEAST Foundation, through the Helm Foundation for Training and Consultations in the Field of Disabilities, accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran Nawab. The President of the University and Dr. Tariq Zaki, Director of the Center, at the Center’s headquarters in the new campus.
Al-Noamani explained that the university is coping with the vision of the Egyptian state in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families, based on their role in sustainable development and investing their abilities and potentials in building the new republic.
Alnomany stressed that during his inspection of the training, the pioneering role of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in providing support and assistance for all groups of society, including people with disabilities, explaining that it is necessary to use socially acceptable names
It is worth noting that the university president conducted a dialogue with the trainee students, during which he stressed that students with disabilities inspire us and give us positive energy, strong will, and a spirit of challenge.
Alnomany also assured on providing a hand and assistance to them, and provide them with the appropriate environment, to enable them to participate effectively in building the nation.
