Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, inspected the exhibition of surveying devices used in surveying operations, and a number of student graduation projects related to the surveying program, which were implemented on the sidelines of Faculty of Arts’ celebration of World Geographic Information Systems Day, which was organized by the Agency of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs in cooperation with Department of Geography at the faculty.
Prof. Muhammad Tawfeeq, the Dean of the faculty, indicated that the scientific lectures included a lecture about the field study and integration with remote sensing and geographic information systems and their role in supporting decision-making with application to national projects in Egypt
