Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, and Major General Staff Walid Hamid Al-Hamaki, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, witnessed the activities of the fifty-third educational symposium organized by the Armed Forces, represented by the Popular and Military Defense Forces, to educate students about the dangers that threaten national security, at the International Conference Center in the new headquarters,which coincided with the celebration of the golden jubilee to commemorate the victories of the glorious October War.
Al-Noamani began his speech by sending a greeting of thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who is characterized by sophistication, wisdom, and strength derived from a moral military personality, and during whose reign the Egyptian state witnessed great achievements and comprehensive development in all parts of the country were represented by the construction of the new republic in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030, and the national projects that were built aimed at protecting Egyptian national security.
Al-Numani also started with a greeting of pride and reverence to the martyrs of the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the precious soil of the homeland, praising the great role of the armed forces in securing the country’s borders and sacrificing what is precious and to preserve the security and stability of the homeland, offering thanks to the Popular and Military Defense Forces for their important role in educating and raising awareness of university youth to be Knowledgeable and aware of the history, present and future of their country, making them aware of the dangers and crises that the country is going through, and changing some of the misconceptions and destructive ideas, in addition to instilling the values of citizenship and belonging.
The symposium began with a silence minute for the martyrs of the glorious October War of 1973, followed by a Quran recitation.
