Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, congratulated the university’s academic and administrative leaders on their successes in renewing the ISO 9001:2015 certificates for 7 faculties and the central administration from the National Accreditation Council (IGAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), as well as the ISO 21001:2018 certificate. From the National Accreditation Council (EGAC), wishing continued excellence with perseverance and constant diligence to make every effort to ensure that all university faculties obtain the ISO certificate and apply quality, with the aim of the university reaching the prestigious international level that befits it, its heritage and its status.
Al-Nomani stressed that the university succeeded in making a qualitative leap in the international academic and administrative accreditation, by renewing the ISO certification of 7 of its faculties, which are the faculties of (science, medicine, arts, nursing, agriculture, commerce, and pharmacy) and the central administration, which demonstrated their excellence in applying International quality standards, in addition to improving the quality of administrative performance, shifting towards decentralization in administration, and creating a positive administrative environment that contributes to achieving the university’s strategic vision and goals in transforming into a smart, fourth-generation global university.
In this regard, Al-Nomani extended a greeting of thanks and appreciation to those responsible for this achievement, and congratulated all university employees as partners in the achievement achieved through working in the spirit of one team
He called all representatives of the various departments in the central administration and all university faculties to exert more effort in order to continue excellence and raise University ranking locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that the review team’s visit lasted for four days, the first day Faculties of Science and Medicine were awarded, the second day Faculties of Arts and Nursing were awarded, the third day Faculties of Agriculture and Commerce were awarded, and in the last day the faculty of Pharmacy and Central Administration was awarded, thus making Sohag University the first at the level of the Egyptian universities to apply ISO
