Sohag University signs a cooperation protocol with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research

Dr. Ahmed Aziz, President of Sohag University, signed a cooperation protocol with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, represented by Dr. Hala Ramadan, acting Director of the Center, this was in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Abdel Khaleq, Vice President of the university for Environmental Development and Community Service, and Dr. Madiha Ahmed Ubada, Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts at the Foundation’s headquarters in Cairo.

Aziz assured that the university cares about cooperating with many governmental institutions, noting that the protocol comes in order to implement the state’s strategy to activate the role of participation to develop the works and services of the  institutions in all fields, and the university’s role towards civil society, especially in light of the statistics of the ministry of Social Solidarity, which explained that the governorate ranks first in drug abuse, second in smoking, and third in alcohol abuse

 

 

The university president explained that the protocol aims at creating a communication and cooperation between the two parties in order to support government policies, to achieve  the scientific communication between the teaching and research staff through joint cooperation, in addition to helping researchers in various fields and disciplines by providing scientific references and indexes,
