Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
(Established in 2008)
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was established at Sohag University
according to the Presidential decree No.324 of 2007. undergraduate
began in the academic year 2008-2009 with the
agreement
of the Supreme Council of Universities,
the Supreme Council of Universities, in its meeting held on Sunday
7/9/2008, to accept 50 transferred students from the Faculties of
Veterinary Medicine at Assuit University . South
Valley
University.
The faculty
is
located inside the
university
campus behind faculty of science, a
special
theater
for theoretical
teaching for students is founded in the compound of
stands
the
mortuary is next to the mortuary of medicine faculty, other
teaching labs are founded at faculties of science and medicine. In
the faculty, there are information technology club and library for
students.
