Delivering the brilliance reward at faculty of nursing

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Eman Abu Diyf, the dean of faculty of nursing and Professor Doctor Samya Mohamed Ahmed, the deputy of the faculty for education and student affairs, the brilliance rewards were delivered to the brilliant students, aiming at encouraging them to move forward.

The seminar of time management at faculty of nursing

 Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Eman Abu Diyf, the dean of faculty of nursing and Professor Doctor Tarek Abu el-Ezz, the deputy of the faculty for environment development and society service affairs and in the frame of activating the sector of environment development and society service, the faculty and the scientific assembly organize a seminar under the title "time management", this will be on Sunday dated 18/3/2012 at 10 am in the glass hall

The healthy food is the axis of a seminar which will be held in February 20 at faculty of nursing

Under the patronage of Doctor Tarek Abd el-Hameed Abu el-Ezz, the deputy of the faculty for the society service's affairs and the environment development, faculty of nursing invites you to participate in the events of the scientific seminar which society service's affairs and the environment development committee of the faculty will hold under the title "The healthy food", as the seminar will be held at 10 am on Monday dated 20/2/2012 at the glass hall in the class building.

Worthy mentioning is that Professor Doctor Ahmed Mohamed Hasaneen, a professor of botany at faculty of science, Professor Doctor Refaat Mahmoud Mohamed, a professor of the food censorship at faculty of veterinary, Professor Doctor Ahmed Fathy Hammed, an assistant lecturer of the public health at faculty of medicine and Professor Doctor Mohamed Abd el-Hameed Seroor, a professor of nutrition at faculty of agriculture will give the lecture at the seminar.

The committee of purchasing books and references from the international book exhibition in Cairo

 The committee of purchasing books and references from the libraries and from the international book exhibition in Cairo, as the committee consisted of Doctor"Safaa Ibrahim", an assistant lecturer at the maternity department, Doctor"Nadia Mohammed", an assistant lecturer at the management department and Doctor" Mona Gamal',an assistant lecturer at the external nursing department, this in order to make the library be able to present the services and achieving its aim of making the staff members, students and the researchers read in faculty of nursing.

Studying the mechanisms of executing the standard regulation for the technical institutions of nursing

Faculty of nursing at Sohag University participated in the workshop which Cairo University organized on Wednesday dated 18/1/2012, under the title"

Studying the mechanisms of executing the standard regulation for the technical institutions of nursing". 

This was under the presidency of Professor Doctor Feryal Abd el-Aziz, head of the nursing sector committee at the higher council of universities. 

It was Miss Mona Gamal Mohamed who represented faculty of nursing, a demonstrator at surgical and internal nursing. 

All the representatives of faculties of nursing on the level of the republic attended the workshop, for discussing the new editions of the regulation. 

Moreover, many items of the regulation have been discussed and finally they approved on many recommendations such as: Joining the technical institutions of nursing on the level of the republic and canceling the schools of nursing starting from next year.

Developing the curricula of English and Pathology at faculty of nursing

Under the supervision of professor doctor Eman Abo Deef, a dean of faculty of nursing, Doctor Hanan Abeed,a lecturer at English department tat faculty of arts and Doctor Fatma el-Zahraa.a lecturer at pathology department at faculty of medicine, faculty of nursing develops the English curricula by using the book of "English for nurses" for the author"malika

Cultural information tournament competition between the students of faculty of nursing

Faculty of nursing organized a competition of cultural information tournament between the students, as 50 students competed for the first positions.

This was under the supervision of Miss.Randa Moftafa Abo Ghadeer, a manger of youth care management at faculty of nursing.

 It was Doctor Nour Elhoda Mostafa Mohamed, a lecturer at nursing department and a chairwoman of gynecology department and Mr. Rashad Elshamsy, a manger of student's families and social activity management at youth care management, who judged the competition. 

A workshop for the staff members and the researchers of faculty of nursing

Faculty of nursing concluded a workshop for the staff members and for the researchers in order to train them on SPSS programme, which lasted for 3 days started from last Sunday 18/12/2011.

Professor Fouad Metry Attya, a lecturer at faculty of medicine public health department, gave the lecture. He spoke about the program saying that it is a statistical program aims at forming the ability of the researchers to perform the required statistical analyses for the master and the PHD.

Moreover the program helps the researchers to perform the necessary statistical equations and the mathematical process.

The lecture dealt with this program in details, around its three days, as it explains a full explanations for the researchers through illustrating the specifications of the program, how to show data in the form of graphics and tables and the way of using the program in calculating the volume of the planned sample in the research and all the statistical analyses.   

Transferring the subordination of the technical institutions of nursing to faculty of nursing

The council of the university approved in its last session yesterday under the presidency of professor Nabil Nour El-Deen acting vice president of the university, on transferring the subordination of the technical institutions of nursing to faculty of nursing in stead of faculty of medicine.
Also the council approved on executing the project of naming the streets of the university which faculty of arts presented, which aims at developing the environment of the society of the university.
The project also includes defining the faculties and the other buildings of service in side the university.
The council approved decided forming a committee from the deans of the faculties to assign the names of the streets and charged the engineering management to put a map for the streets that will be named.
