to welcome you to the Faculty of Nursing, Sohag
University, and to congratulate the new students who
have joined the faculty this year. I wish you all
success in your studies and that you all achieve the
best of results. I also wish that God grants you success
in life in general.
Dear students,
The nursing career
that you have chosen is considered one of the most
sublime professions known to man. The term "angels of
mercy" has not been used haphazardly. It arised out of
the actual reality of practicing this profession which
calls for dealing with patients at their weakest
conditions, as well as dealing with their families when
they are in the utmost state of worry and tension. What
is needed here is bearing all with magnanimity and
tolerance and performing the nursing services with
efficiency and high quality, whether these services are
related to the medicinal aspect or to the preventative
and rehabilitative aspect on both the individual and
societal level.
In order to
achieve what you aspire to, let us work together as one
family in this newly founded faculty to help it advance
and become one of the best nursing faculties nationwide.
God willing, the faculty administration will be there to
support you. I would like to take this opportunity to
express my utmost thanks and appreciation to the
University President, Professor Doctor Mohamad Sayid
Ibraheem for providing all kinds of support for this
faculty whenever requested to.
Dear students,
To conclude, I
would like to advise you to abide by faculty rules and
regulations, to regularly attend lectures and practical
training, and to effectively participate in all the
activities and events held by the faculty. I wish you
