Under
the patronage of Prof Dr Faysal el-Raoy, the dean of
faculty of education, a training course is held under
the title 'train the teachers of the secondary schools,
this in the light of the third stage which started on
Saturday dated 10/3/2012 and will end on Monday dated
12/3/2012 under the title "The modern attitudes in
managing the secondary schools".
Worthy
mentioning is that Dr Mohamed Fawzy, Dr Hamdy Essayed,
Prof Dr Nabil Saad Khaleel and Prof Dr Abd el-Mueen Saad
eldeen give the lecture. |

Activating the ideal female and
male student competition at faculty of education |
|
Under the
patronage of Prof Dr Faysal el-Raoy, the dean of faculty
of education and Mr. Gamal Kamal Bakheet, the manger of
youth care management, the faculty organized the ideal
female and male student competition at faculty of
education.
Dr Imam
el-Borai, a lecturer at the faculty and Dr Khaled Abd
el-Lateef, a lecturer at the faculty arbitrated the
competition. |

Granting the master and the PHD
degrees for some researchers at faculty of education |
|
Under the
patronage of Professor Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the dean
of faculty of education, the researcher Aml Mohamed Abd
Allah, an assistant lecturer at curricula and teaching
methods department, was granted the PHD degree in the
methods and curricula of teaching musical education, the
researcher Ali Atya Ali Osman, was granted the PHD
degree in education origins and the researcher Ashraf
Okasha Mustafa, was granted the master degree in
education origins. |

The approval on the return of
commissioning the graduates of the faculty of education |
|
Under the patronage of Professor
Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the dean of faculty of education
and Professor Doctor Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed, the
secretary of the faculty's council, the return of
commissioning the graduates of the faculty of education
was approved by resolution number 293 in 18/2/2012, with
taking into account the following:
1-Appointing two classes from the
previous classes, who didn’t work, with the appointment
of every new class.
2-Appointing should be according to
seniority of those who didn’t work. |

The
formation of a committee to discuss and judge a PHD in
education |
|
The formation of a committee to
discuss and judge a PHD in education, was approved on by
resolution number 293 in 18/2/2012, which is presented
from the researcher Mohamed Ahmed Hammad Abd el-Khalek
in the specialization of the psychological health under
the title "The effectiveness of a cognitive and
behavioral program for train on the tasks of the mind
theory in developing the skills of the social
interaction for some samples of disabled children.
The judging and discussing committee
consisted of:
Professor Doctor Ibrahim Ali
Ibrahim, an emeritus professor of the psychological
health at faculty of quality education at Minia
University, a head and discusser of the committee ,
Professor Doctor Hamdy Shaker Mahmoud, a professor of
the psychological health at faculty of education at
Assuit University and Professor Doctor Khalf Ahmed
Mubarak, a professor of the psychological health and the
deputy of the faculty for education and student affairs
at Sohag University, a discusser of the committee.

at faculty of education |

Under
the patronage of Professor Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the
dean of faculty of education, a discussion of a master
degree under the title" The educational dimensions of
the quality and approval culture for the staff members
at the Egyptian Universities", presented from the
researcher Reda Bakheet Mustafa, will be discussed
tomorrow dated 29/2/2012.
The supervising committee consists
of:
Doctor Mahmoud Essayed Abbass, an
assistant professor at faculty of education at Sohag
University and Doctor Emad Samuel, a lecturer at the
faculty.

education at Alex University,as a member and discusser

Train the teachers of the
secondary schools |

Under
the patronage of Professor Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the
dean of faculty of education, the faculty holds a
training course for the teachers of the secondary
schools under the title" Train the teachers of the
secondary schools", the course will be on three stages,
the first stage started on Saturday dated 25/2/2012, as
Professor Doctor Nabil Saad Khaleel, Professor Doctor
Abd el-Mueen Saad eldeen Hindy, Doctor Abd el-Basit
Mohamed Diab and Doctor Sayed Mohamed Sayed, all of them
gave a lecture under the title' the modern attitudes in
managing the secondary school" |

Under the patronage of Professor

Professor Doctor Mahroos Mahmoud Mahroos, the deputy of

deputy of the faculty for the post graduate studies and
researches affairs, the certificates of surpassing the
thirty-seven course, which faculty of education
organized for the demonstrators and the assistants
lecturers, for preparing the university teacher were

Service camp for one day at
faculty of education |
|
Faculty
of education, at the end of February, organized a
service camp which will include some of the staff
members, the workers and those who want to participate.
As this day will contain many
activities such as working in the lesson hall and the
corridors of the faculty, refining the roses and the
trees and clean the faculty.
After
these activities, there will be sportive and cultural
activities at the playgrounds of the hostel.

Professor Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the
dean of faculty of education and Professor Doctor
Mahmoud Mahroos Mahmoud, the deputy of the faculty for
the environment development and society service affairs,
met many students as representatives for the different
academic teams, aiming at keeping them aware of the role
and the works of the sector of the environment
development and the society service.
They urged
the students to participate in the various activities
such as wiping illiteracy, keeping the buildings and the
institutions and the laboratories of the faculty and of
the university and how to deal with them. |

The visit of the students of
faculty of education to the societal institutions and
the sectors which are related to the educational field |
|
Under the
patronage of Professor Doctor Mahroos Mahmoud Mahroos,
the deputy of the faculty for the environment
development and the society service affairs, a number of
the students visited some of the societal institutions
and the sectors which are related to the educational
field such the directorate of education , the authority
of educating the adult and wiping the illiteracy, and
this visit was for acknowledging the nature of the work
and to make the students recognize their roles towards
the society, as well as this was accompanied by a group
of the demonstrators and the assistant lecturers. |

Course for preparing the academic
teacher |
|
Under
the patronage of Professor Doctor Faysal el-Raoy, the
dean of faculty of education, the program of the thirty
-seven tournament for preparing the academic instructor
will start from Monday dated 13/2/2012 till Wednesday
dated 22/2/2012, and it will be for the demonstrators
and the assistant lecturers at the level of the
university |

Under
the patronage of Doctor Mahmoud Abbass, the manger of
the approval and quality assurance unity at faculty of
education, the center of the approval and quality
assurance unity organized the second period of the
of the course of Sohag's teachers at faculty of
education under the title "The idea of education results
and the maps of the curricula', as the course started on
Saturday dated 4/2/2012 and its end was on Thursday
dated 9/2/2012.
This course included many axes such
as the criteria of approval, the science curricula, the
curricula components and brain storming |

The environmental week at faculty
of education in next February |
|
Under
the patronage of Professor Doctor Fysal el-Raoy, the
dean of faculty of education and professor doctor
Mahroos Mahmoud Mahroos, the deputy of the faculty for
the development environment and society service affairs,
faculty of education participates in the environmental
week, which will be held in next March and which
includes many axes:
1-Blood donation
2-Cultural awareness related to the
different field
3-A group of seminars, presented
within the environmental week, for keeping aware of the
society events and discussing them
4- Various cultural and sportive
activities
5-Roving camp for the participant
students at the faculties. |

Executing the first stage of the training program of the
female teachers of the kinder garten at faculty of
education |
|
According to the agreement between
the project of improving education in the early
childhood stage and faculty of education, faculty of
education holds training programs for the workers at the
kinder garten which are (teachers-inspectors).
The
training is held on three stages and the first stage is
executed which started last Sunday dated 5/2/2012 and it
will end next Wednesday dated 15/2/12012. |

Train the female teachers of
kindergarten at faculty of education |
|
Faculty of
education holds a work shop and a training under the
title" Train the female teachers of kindergarten at
faculty of education and this in cooperation between the
university and the directorate of education in the
project of improving and developing the education in the
ministry and this workshop is presented for (the female
teachers of kindergarten-inspectors and mangers of
kindergarten), as Professor and lecturers from faculty
of education will give the lectures. |

Issuing the educational magazine
at faculty of education |
|
The issue
number 30 of the educational magazine, which faculty of
education issue, has been issued under the patronage of
Professor Doctor Fysal el-Raoy Refaay, a dean of faculty
of education and the editor of the magazine.
This
magazine includes the researches which the professors
conducted, and it's distributed to all of the staff
members of the faculty, it's also sent to all faculties
of education on the level of the republic, aiming at the
scientific and the knowledgeable exchange.

Preparing the university
instructor at faculty of education |
|
Faculty of education organizes a
course under the title "preparing the university
instructor" and this course for the demonstrators and
the assistants lecturers. This course will be next
February and it will last for 15 days, professors from
outside and inside the faculty will give the lecture,
and it includes the following axes
1- Methods and modern strategies in
the university education.
2-The theories of education and
their applications in the university teaching.
3-The student activities and the
role of the staff members toward them.
4-The role of the university in
developing the local society and the societal
participation.
5-The vocal characteristics of the
staff members and their assistants plus acknowledging
the aims of the university education. |

Special Congratulation |

Professor
Mahroos Mahmoud Mahroos, a professor of physical
education at curricula and methodology department at the
faculty and a public coordinator of the students'
activities at Sohag University, was appointed as a
representative of the University for the development of
the students' activities project at the supreme ministry
of education. |
|
Starting the practical exams and
granting the master degree at faculty of education |
|
Faculty council in its session
number 291 dated 17/12/2011 approved on granting the
researcher Abeer Ahmed Hamad Ali, a demonstrator at
English department, faculty of education, the master
degree with excellent grade, which specialized in
curricula and methodology of English.
The council approved also on
starting the practical exams at all practical
departments at the faculty on Sunday dated 24/12/2011
and Thursday dated 29/12/2011.
This will be in the appointments and
places of the practical sections and discussion of the
students.
The council approved on assigning
the appointment of the end of the practical education
,as it will be with the end of the lessons of the post
graduates students on Thursday dated 22/2/2011
Tarek Nour El-Deen Abd El-Reheem,
assistant instructor at the educational psychology, has
been appointed as a professor in the department.
Also
Professor Emad Samuel Wahpa, a lecturer in the origins
of education department, has been promoted to be
assistant professor.

in 1971)
Sohag
Faculty of Education was inaugurated in November, 1971
as a branch of Assiut Faculty of Education. Admission
has been from Sohag governorate citizens aspiring to
join it through transfer from counterpart faculties of
Education. In the academic year 1971/1972, study began
at Sohag Faculty of Education in two departments:
Mathematics and Physics & Chemistry.
