Faculty of commerce participates in AHELO project

 Sohag University participates in the assessment of higher education learning outcomes, as faculty of commerce was chosen in the "economy" field.

Dr Samir Ahmed Abd el-Naim, the coordinator of the project at Sohag University, declared that a seminar was held to make the students know the project and to indicate their wishes to participate.

Worthy mentioning is that 200 students were chosen as samples to participate in the test. 

Establishing many courses at the youth care management at faculty of commerce

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Ahmed Ali Ahmed Hussein, the dean of faculty of commerce and Mr. Nour Mohamed Abd el-Jaleel, the manger of youth care management, the youth care management announced establishing a course in computer (computer maintenance) also the families committee declares establishing a sportive tournament in football, pingpong and Marathon and this will be at the beginning of March.

To those who want to register their names, should go before 26/2/2012.

This under the supervision of Mr. Alaa eldeen Dahy, Mr. Abd el-Rahman Fawzy and Mr. Essayed el-Saidy, the responsibilities of the activity.

The ideal male and female students at faculty of commerce

Youth care management held a competition for the ideal student for 2011/2012.

The result of the competition was winning a number of male and female students.

On the level of males, Ahmed mahmoud Mahran, forth year, won the first position while Ahmed Ramadan Mohamed, third year, won the second position.

Regarding females, Aya Mahmmoud Ahmed,second year, won the first position while Alyaa Hamdy,third year, won the second position .

The winners got financial prizes which are 75 pounds for the first position and 50 pounds for the second position.

Professor Safaa Mahmoud El-Sayed, deputy of the faculty for students and education affairs, and Professor Ismail Mahmoud, a lecturer at faculty of arts, judged the competition.  

Pre eleminary exams at business administration department

Pre eleminary exams have been assigned in two subjects, at business administration department faculty of commerce, which are:

Contemporary administrative problems on Thursday 5/1/2012.

Planning and monitoring production on Monday 16/1/2012.

A chess competition at faculty of commerce

A chess competition has been held between male and female students under the supervision of Mr. Nour Mohamed Abd El-Galeel, manager of the youth care management and Mr. Eshak Metry Saeed,the supervisor of the sportive activity .

On the other hand Mr. Khaled Ahmed Fadel,the sportive specialist  at faculty of commerce, participated in the competition. The result was winning some male and female students.

On the male level Mahmoud Ahmed, third year, won the first position while Apanop Saleep won the second position.

On the female level Fatma Yosry Mohamed won the first position while Noor El-Sayed Abd –Elghafar won the second position.

Regarding the prizes, they were financial, 50 pounds for the first position and 40 for the second position.      

رExchanging the subsidies of the social solidarity fund at faculty of commerce

The subsidies of the social solidarity fund have been exchanged at faculty of commerce; these subsidies have been exchanged as full tuitions for the regular students which are 175 students while 170pounds for the affiliate students and subsidies ranging from 350 to 290 for the students of the special needs.

the Quality Assurance Unit, Faculty of Commerce, Announced that it  received the students' proposals about the field of student participation projects, financed by the Ministry of Higher Education, during the period from 01.06.2011 till 15.06.2011.

The student whose proposal will be accepted will assume management of the project in condition that all project activities will be managed by students

Faculty of Commerce Established in 1981

Study at the Faculty of Commerce started at the academic year 1981/1982,

and in 1995/1996 an English Commercial Studies Program was added.
